This turned out to be an excellent deal for a pretty cheap price! Everyone knows how much iPod related items are marked up these days, but this combo deal gives you both the wall charger and car charger for one cheap price! This product may be acceptable to some people, but the visibility through the reflective screen cover is terrible. Not only does it cut down on the amount of light that can pass through, it also has a grid of very thin lines criss-crossing over the entire screen. For me this was very distracting and unappealing. I put the protector on for a day for kicks, just to show my friends how ridiculous it was. Then I promptly removed the protector and then bought a standard clear plastic one.

Don't buy this product. First, it was missing one of the tools shown, #4 and tool #3 broke trying to open the Iphone (btw that is what that tool is supposed to do). Learn you lesson from me.. Just go to a local dollar store and get two small cross tip screw drivers, and a plastic bag of knifes, like comes in a set of 25. Break the plastic knife and sharpen on edge to a 45 degree angle. Tool #3 broke and was useless. Did I mention this tool kits better quality... Oh, I forgot, it doesn't have a better quality, unless you just want to waste money..

I bought this because I just needed something to help me open up a 5th Generation iPod Video.

After receiving it in the mail, I discovered that the tools were really different from the picture shown. My tools were orange, and one of the screwdrivers looked different too. Since I was going to use the tools once, I didn't care.



First, I used the orange iPod opening tools, and their tips all broke off. I had to stick to using several guitar picks instead. I also thought the suction cup was a joke, but I actually used it to help me separate the face plate from the back plate, and it worked. The screwdrivers worked too, and helped me install things into my iPod.



I was disappointed that the opening tools broke, because I figured I might actually need to use them. The tools are also priced too high, for tools that break easily. If I were you, I would buy a different set of tools, especially if you might need to use the kit more than once. The is not even good for just one use.

I got this kit with iPhone 3g screen i replace to screen on a iPhone 3g i had to repair. I used suck tool out of it and did seamless release of the screen. Never used the rest the items included, but the feel solid. With the parrying tools you have to be careful because after a few hard tries to open something they will break. This is not only for what is included in the kit but for all of them i have about ten set of them that came in different kits i bought before. But it is great package if you want do repairs on small electronics like the ipod all generations and the iphones all generations.

I bought this kit to use to open an Asus netbook for some modding. Shipping was way too high. The lip of the blue tools broke off almost immediately. The suction cup is a joke. It wouldn't create suction on any part of my ipod. (I tested it out of boredom while on a conference call.) The screwdrivers are throw away items. I found I was better off with a cheap plastic disposable paint scraper (dull the edge with some sand paper) and my own screwdrivers.

The first time i got them the mic didn't work. the second time the mic worked. the 3rd time the mic was a completely different shaped but worked after i messed around with the hold button. overall the quality was good. but i dont no if the next time i get them that they will look the same or if the mic even works.

I received this player last week and here are some things that makes me think that is defective or has a poor quality.



1. Battery life is really short, it only last for 15 or so minutes and then I have to recharge it.

2. Sometimes the touchscreen doesn't work at all.



I am planning on return it and getting a refund. After I get my refund, I am going to buy an Ipod which has a better quality in my opinion and the battery lasts for hours and hours.

Great player. The touch screen works well. Video and audio quality are great. Accepts many different video formats without conversion. Downloaded video files from youtube using kissyoutube and it works great. The battery life is a little shorter than expected, but not too bad.

Have had it for about 3 month now. Going strong. My previous iPod lasted 7 month. I hope this will last at least 6 month. I am planning to buy more for Christmas presents.

I saw they have this new one, but there is no consumer review yet. It looks very nice. If anybody got it, please advice the quality. Thank you

The power button will not come on, try charing it and it still doesn't work. This is just a waste of money. I do not recommend any of the PE touchscreen.

I bought this player for my 14 yr old daughter. She was determined to get an I-Pod, except that it was completely out of my budget. I found this, and decided to give it a shot. She is happy as a clam, thinks it's better than an I-Pod, and all her friends think so as well. She LOVES that it takes pictures and videos. Loading music onto the thing is a breeze, and the radio works wonderfully. It gets more stations in clearer than our car does. Now, the wife wants one too. My daughter is never without this thing. It goes for days without needing to be re-charged, hasn't broken yet, and my daughter is not the most delicate with electronics. A+!

I would consider this a good charger for occasional use but I'm a little afraid to use it much with my 3GS.

When I have it plugged in and charging the phone, it makes a strange, high pitch whining sound through the iphone's speaker/headphone jack. I think I'll be getting a higher quality charger for when I want to leave the phone plugged in for extended periods of time. Also, the plastic plug is slightly wider than the apple chargers so if you have a case on your phone, it might be a tight fit. I have an iSkin Revo case and the rubber actually has to stretch a little to accommodate the plug.

While charging my iPhone with this car charger it became hot to the touch.

This does not happen when I charge it on my PC with the USB cable or with the Wall Charger that came with the phone.

I visited my local AT&T store with this issue. They recommended that I immediately discontinue using this charger because it has no power regulator to safely charge the battery. I was informed that using these types of chargers may shorten the lifespan of the battery, could cause it to fail entirely, and is not covered under warranty because this product is not recommended or approved for use with any iPhone by Apple or AT&T.

I can't believe how cheap, and by cheap I mean price, this charger is! You could easily spend $15 to $20 retail and this thing is only pennies? I was skeptical but after reading a few reviews i thought it wouldn't hurt to try since i bought this for fifty cents!? What could I lose? Well i got it and I was really surprised at the quality. There is a blue indicator light to show its charging and it even says... For iPhone 3GS. Feels sturdy and the cord does not feel like some cheap plastic cord, it actually feels nice. Works perfectly, no problems!! I should have bought 2. Just go BUY IT!!
