This sleeve was my first purchase for my new Ipod touch. The sleeves work marginally well for the everyday users that only want to keep it scratch free while walking from the flat to the coffee shop. That's a nice dream but my job involves a lot of traveling, most of that out in the desert where my primary concern is who's shooting at me rather than how my Ipod is doing. I found that too often the edges wanted to slip off and eventually pulled the entire case off if it went unnoticed. I would also bet that the micrometer of rubber around the edge is probably not enough to protect the unit from any sort of significant impact.



Now, I understand the prudent thing to do would be leave it locked back in my tough tote but I take my Ipod with me because it has several key features that I utilize everyday and its a useful tool to balance an already overwhelming amount of information (as well as being a good distraction - there's always time for another episode of Dirty Jobs).



For individuals that are in a similar situation to mine, here's what I did and found useful. Either purchase an Otterbox or the Oakley Iphone rubber armor casing. Combined with my full size Iluv rubber sleeve which extends all the way to the edges of the screen and screen scratch protector, and the Oakley case the device itself is nearly indestructible and the rubber on rubber contact ensure no slippage and increased shock/dust/sand protection.

I have used this everywhere. I can put my entire music collection, all my movies/tv shows, games, and podcast, and still have room for photos of my daughter. I can make play list for any mood, and have it on hand for in the car, or what ever I am doing. When I go and visit family who don't have computers or internet, I can have it on hand for showing them video that I have made of my daughter and have the photos as well. My 3 year old daughter even enjoys watching videos on my ipod.



I also enjoy the fact that it has the calendar and contacts feature so I can don't have to carry something separately. Especially when I travel and I need look up a phone number of a contact or to see what event are coming up.



You can also make new play list on your ipod without hooking it up to your computer. You can also set up multiple clocks so you can keep track of the time in the event you have family in different timezones.

This a replacement for my 4 year old 30G Classic iPod which died after spending 4 years in a hot car i the south Florida sun. I am completely thrilled with the new one although I don't know what I will ever do with all of the space.

If you have not tried an iPod and you have a lot of CDs do yourself a favor and get one. I had 525 CDs on my 30G with a little room to spare, I bought an 8G for an employee and Have 50 or so CDs on it with room to spare. My new 120G will hold 50,000 songs! I can't begin to tell you how great it is to have my entire CD collection in 1 small package instead of having to pull over, open up one of the binders and play the CD. Next I buy a USB turntable and turn all of my rare vinyl into digital and put that on the iPod too!

I just purchased this item and find it easy to use and love, love, love the small light weight size. It works very well with iTunes and is easy to download cd's and purchased music. I haven't tried it with pictures or anything else yet. Also love the large hard drive on this one too. I did buy a case for it since the back is so shiny I was afraid it would scratch. One little thing I found a bit difficult at first is the way you have to adjust the volume. Not used to using the center wheel for adjusting or changing things. I owned an Mp3 player by another company which had a button on the side to adjust the volume. I am getting used to it. Guess it just takes time. The sound quality is great and I now see you can buy a Bose portable item to hook up your iPod anywhere and use it without the earphones. Great idea. Easy to use for first time too. Just plug into your computer to charge the battery and follow directions.You can Sync or add songs from your library while the battery is charging. Also very easy. Love this item.

This item does not come with a car charger or A/C adapter. I bought them separately here on Amazon for a great price and bought the case separately here too.

I would not hesitate to recommend this item for purchase. The only disappointment I have is that I was not able to have mine engraved through this site as this was offered on other sites for this item but the price on this site was much better.

So since I keep it in a case, it wouldn't be seen anyway. Put an address label on the back.

I read the reviews before I ordered it, wondering about the quality and that the light sensor is covered up. I love this case. It is exactly what I needed. I didn't even cut out a hole for the light sensor as one reviewer did. The case fits on my belt securely and flat against my body. I have a 3rd gen ipod touch which fits into the case snugly and all necessary connection points and volume controls are exposed precisely. I think BestBuy has the same case for about $35.

I read multiple, positive reviews before ordering this product. The overwhelming majority were 4 or 5 stars. I'm not sure why, the magnet is too small and does not securely fasten the cover that protects the touch screen. Also, the volume control buttons on the side of the touch are completely obstructed. In my opinion, keep looking!

Contrary to what the company describes what the case fits, this case is a very tight fit for the FIRST gen itouch and not built to suit the 2nd gen itouch as it does not allow access the volume buttons on the side.

I like the very slim design of the case, but honestly, this could have been built better.



Back to the drawing board and try again, DLo.

I liked the one I had by DLO ..& I could not find that company anywhere ! . the only ones I was coming across had a belt Clip which i DO NOT want .so I went to Sony and the clerk looked up dlo and found the case I wanted .. I ordered it but then after I realized it had a clip ... I was very upset but I had read another reveiw from another customer and she did not want the clip either but accepted this one because it wasn't bulky . All in all I am satisfied but I would still like one without a clip .thanks amazon for coming very close to what I wanted . :-)

I just recieved this in the mail. I ordered it two day service and unfortunately they ship it via the USPS so it takes two weeks. Once I opened it I expected that it wouldn't have anything magnetic. It does and if you know anything about technology you know magnets and electronic circuitry doesn't mix well together especially Television screens and such. I'm not sure whether to use this or not. I'm afraid it's going to screw up my already 300.00 product. Otherwise it is very sleek. Very nice design. I probably wont use it in fear it will mess my ipod touch up, unless I see more reviews in a few months with users that haven't had any problems.

Overall, i'd agree that it was great for it's price, it looks and feels good (it actually looks better than the picture), and gives my ipod touch the protection i want. The flap is also safely secured by a magnet-buckle. Definitely a good product for a cheap price.



However, one downside is that when my ipod is in the case, i cannot charge it as the slot for the charging is not big enough. So i have to remove it every time i want to charge, and that is troublesome. Besides that, the volume controls on the left side are also blocked.



If it were not for these 2 downsides, i would give it a 100%!



By all means get it, since it's so cheap! But be prepared for what i've warned u about!

I have used this case for about a week. Things I am pleased about: reasonably sturdy construction, protects the ITouch in your pocket with other items (key feature for me), seems that it will offer protection from small drops or bumps, all buttons & ports accessible. Naturally, you will need to remove it if you want to insert it into most docks a la mobile speakers. A word of caution though: I find it very difficult to access the edge of the touch screen. If you have very small fingers you might not have a problem, but my average size fingers hit the edge of the case. A number of apps (particularly games) require touching the screen close to the edge so you may find that you are removing the ITouch from the case more frequently than you would like. I should also mention that the cover does fold completely over fairly easily so you don't really have to worry about it being in the way. Right now it doesn't stay there by itself, but I expect that with time as the leather loosens up I won't need to. We'll see if this causes excessive wear.
