 "Great player" 2009-10-27
By Linda Lee
Bought two, one 8GB with camera and the other 4GB without camera. Both work very well.

The 8GB with camera has a Tank game which is pretty cool. This 4GB one comes with a some kind of puzzle game (moving blocks around to form a picture). It is ok but no more challenges after a while.

I think both of them are upgraded models since they seem to be slightly different than the reviews from a few month ago. They both play FLV and WMV files without any conversion (have not tried other formats yet). I downloaded the flv file from youtube using [...]. They played very smoothly. The screen looks pretty fragile. However, it did not break after being dropped a couple of times.

The only thing needing improvement is the battery. It is ok but not super. It lasted about 3 hours for video and 8 hours also for music with single charge.

Good buy.

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/RY16B59293LIQ watch this video before you buy it. this will make a difference for you. this product is good. however when i pressed the screen to listen to music, the screen cracked all of a sudden. they won't even give me a warranty. also this touch screen is very still. you have to press it about 5 times just to click something. so i recommend you not to buy this. and this is didn't even last long. it lasted about 3 months.

Really not bad for the price. My only gripe is that the touchscreen is a little unresponsive, but you get the hang of it after a while. Great sound quality, good video, and the conversion software is quick.

 "How nice" 2009-09-21
By Zac
I was very reluctant to buy this one after seeing some of those reviews on Amazon. But, I really like the feature and price of it. Needless to say, I took the risk and bought one. Now, I am glad I did. it has everything I needed. The product comes in a very nice designed box with the company's logo. It says MP5 on the box. Asked the seller about that and they said the model has been upgraded in the last a few weeks. Now, they are shipping out the upgraded model that plays more video formats and has faster processor. That has been proved to be true. I loaded flv files from youTube and some avi video clips downloaded from the internet, it played very well. No conversion at all. I tired to put a movie that I bought from a website on it. It did not work. Later I learned that the movie I purchased is license protected and would not play. That explains.

Music function is great. It sorts the music for you based on ID3 information. Photos are displayed in thumbnail manner. I found that large photos take long time to load. I just make the photo smaller and it works very well. I need to find a software that can downsize photos in batch. Now, it is very painful if I want to put my photo collection of thousands on it. I like the FM feature. Not a big fan of text reader. I don't read on small screen anyway. Still like paper books. :)

Overall, this is more than what I have expected. Very nice. Those people who are complaining about the product and functions might have got the older version, my guess. Or maybe I am lucky. :)

 "SquareTrade Warranties" 2009-10-07
By Angela Walker
I have at least 10 current warranties with SquareTrade, and will continue to use them. As soon as I make a purchase, I head to SquareTrade to put a warranty on it. It's become a habit. Whether I buy retail, eBay, Amazon, etc., I know SquareTrade will have the best price on a warranty for my item. I have had several occasions to use those warranties, too. Each time, SquareTrade has been prompt and courteous in handling my claims to my satisfaction. I have been very happy with SquareTrade, and can't think of a single reason why I would go anywhere else.

"Absolutely happy with Squaretrade Warranty!" 2009-07-30
By Dee Dee
In 2008 we ordered an Ipod and in 2009, the Ipod went bad. We contacted Squaretrade with the information about the Ipod going bad and they emailed me right back to tell us the procedure of the process for the warranty. We followed the simple instructions, they received what they needed and a full refund was given to us. Simple, affordable and easy to work with. We will definately be returning customers for Squaretrade.

I bought a no-name MP3 player and I sure am glad I sprung for the Square Trade warranty. The MP3 player crapped out pretty quickly and was useless before too long. Square Trade to the rescue. They were very easy to deal with and refunded the full purchase price with no hassles. I will definitely use them again.

"Big waste of money, go and buy an Ipod!!!" 2009-10-25
By David (KANSAS,USA)
I received this player last week and here are some things that makes me think that is defective or has a poor quality.

1. Battery life is really short, it only last for 15 or so minutes and then I have to recharge it.

2. Sometimes the touchscreen doesn't work at all.

I am planning on return it and getting a refund. After I get my refund, I am going to buy an Ipod which has a better quality in my opinion and the battery lasts for hours and hours.

 "Awesome player" 2009-10-17
By Linda Lee
Great player. The touch screen works well. Video and audio quality are great. Accepts many different video formats without conversion. Downloaded video files from youtube using kissyoutube and it works great. The battery life is a little shorter than expected, but not too bad.

Have had it for about 3 month now. Going strong. My previous iPod lasted 7 month. I hope this will last at least 6 month. I am planning to buy more for Christmas presents.

I saw they have this new one, but there is no consumer review yet. It looks very nice. If anybody got it, please advice the quality. Thank you

 "waste of money" 2009-10-16
By Charliez
I bought a 8 GB MP4/MP3 Player with FM Radio, Camera, Voice Recorder, USB Portable, and 2.8-inch Touchscreen and within a month it just went dead. The power button will not come on, try charing it and it still doesn't work. This is just a waste of money. I do not recommend any of the PE touchscreen.

 "Fabulous little MP3 player" 2009-10-05
By Katrin Kumm (Fortuna, CA)
I bought this player for my 14 yr old daughter. She was determined to get an I-Pod, except that it was completely out of my budget. I found this, and decided to give it a shot. She is happy as a clam, thinks it's better than an I-Pod, and all her friends think so as well. She LOVES that it takes pictures and videos. Loading music onto the thing is a breeze, and the radio works wonderfully. It gets more stations in clearer than our car does. Now, the wife wants one too. My daughter is never without this thing. It goes for days without needing to be re-charged, hasn't broken yet, and my daughter is not the most delicate with electronics. A+!
