I was so excited to get my new Ipod Touch 3g from my girlfriend for our anniversary that I didn't want her to have to pay $30 for this charger at the Apple store. I went ahead and ordered this one from Accessory Wizard because 1) it said it had the green dot which meant it was post recall and would be safe for my new, very expensive gift. 2) It said fulfillment by Amazon which made me trust this seller.
BIG MISTAKE.
First of all when it got here it was not in a box, just a plastic bag and it did NOT have the green dot on it like it promised it would.
I asked the dude at Apple if he thought it would be OK and he said, he wouldn't take the chance but I could still find it online for cheaper then at their store (so he wasn't trying to make the sale.) In the end, we bought the one at the Apple store to be sure that we didn't cause any harm to the ipod with a cheap, knockoff charger to safe a few bucks.
OK, so I figured i could just return it for a full refund since it's Amazon and they have always stood by their products. Well I was WRONG.
After dealing with some costumer service rep that barely spoke English I get an email saying I'm only getting half of my money back! WTF is up with that? They lied to me and now they're keeping half my money for a restocking fee??????!!!!!
DO NOT BUY FROM Accessory Wizard.
If you spent all that money on an Ipod or Iphone, protect your gadget and buy a legit charger direct from Apple. Ave yourself the headache.

If you do some research, you are told that only the ones with the green dot on it, actually works. This is not the case. The one that came in the mail for me had a green dot but didn't work anyways. It kept coming out of the wall and would not charge my Ipod. When you plug it in to your Ipod, it shows that it is charging, however, after a couple of hours, and some unplugging, it is evident that the charger did nothing, and your Ipod is still uncharged. Returning this charger is also a pain because it doesn't come with a packing slip! And the "from" address is slightly unclear and sketchy. DON'T BUY IT.

Item came complete but was missing USB cable, but upon closer inspection, cable did not come with Power Adapter. It arrived in excellent condition and well within time frame. Except for lack of a cable, it's a great buy.

This product arrived in a bag on my doorstep already scratched. I talked to AccessoryOne customer service and was told that this simply happens when the chargers are being transported from Apple into the envelopes they are shipped in. After my first one arrived scratched, they sent me another one that came in the same condition as the first. I contacted AccessoryOne again about this purchase and received the same story. After asking for a refund of my purchase I was told that I could just keep the product. In the end, I got 2 power adapters for free...which is a shame for AccessoryOne. I would recommend this product with the understanding that it will most likely not be in new condition (at least not with my experience). Might not be good for a gift, but if you need a charger for yourself and don't need it in perfect condition, it will do the job.
