This 4th generation Nano is the best one yet! The style, size, weight, sturdiness are all improved with this generation. The games are better and the features are much nicer.

I found this Ipod Nano to be very hard to use especially without a complete user guide ! The worst thing to me was the fact that to add any MP3 files or any other format of any kind you MUST download Apple's web site. So without that its useless and they do not tell you that up front. In the small quick guide they supply with the Nano it does not tell you at all how you charge the battery which again can only be done thru your PC. The controls are extremely sensitive which makes it very hard to use as you must really pratice a lot to become fimilar with it!. Last I was told it could be used in my new Dodge Car both by Dodge and by Apple and I can't get it to work yet as it keeps going to or showing " no power" mode when I plug into the Console Ipod Connection Port.In using it as a pocket music source it does have great sound however , but also hard or sensitive to use as the slightest pressuer or bump to the Ipod will change the mode or music you are listining to. If I knew all this prior I don't think I would have bought this Apple Ipod Nano at all.

This product is overall a good deal, but Apple still has a long way to go. I enjoy it somedays, I hate it others, especially since iTunes can convert my .wma music, but not my videos or movies since Apple wants to force you to buy them again in their format (they gave me some crap about liscensing). Amazon gave me the same thing. (The first thing that came to mind was "monopoly".) But anywho, it is what it is. At the end of the day, while this is a descent piece of machinery, I still wish, for more reasons then those stated above, that i would have got a MP3 player from neone but Apple. (LOL, tell me why I got all the bad memory flash backs of Macintosh from when i was in school, AFTER i bought the iPod?!)

Just love it. I personally use the nano to record lectures in class using a separate piece of equipment called "Thumbtacks". But I've also got a ton of music in it. It's great if you don't neccessarily need all the bells and whistles of higher GB ipods.
