"Beautiful and Extremely Good Protector!" 2009-09-18
By Fabi Bendoit
I've had this case for about half a year now, and I have to say, this is the best case I've ever had. I have dropped my phone a couple of times now, and with this case, it literally bounces, then lands. NO damage at all to the phone! I've been an ipod touch user since they first came out, and have always had bulky leather covers until this one. And it's in purple! Really beautiful~

Hey it's me again!GIGI~

I only come here because this is on of the two excellent items i got for me and my sister.

Just ignore the first guy's comments. It's very prejudiced.I bouhgt two of this product and they are really great! They fit the ipods and protect them so well like covering them with a cushion.

"Flimsiest Case I've ever seen!" 2009-07-02
By Rebecca J. Slominsky (Lancaster, PA)
This is the flimsiest item I've ever seen. Even cases from the Dollar Store are thicker. There is no way this case would protect my iPod if I dropped it or spilled water on it.

 "Little angry, but satisfied." 2009-10-15
By John P. Laird (Colorado)
I ordered two day shipping, but they sent it USPS, it took forever, then ontop of that the mailman tells me he needs more money because they didn't use the right postage... shipping was already $7.00?

The product is good, but that's all I have to say... disgusted with the shipping.

 "its alright" 2009-09-29
By Yae Kim
this product was really good, at first. i was super easy to put on and it had zero air bubbles. but thennnn, it wasnt really scratch proof. when i took it out of my bag, there were scratches on it. and it wasnt just small scratches, it was a dent scratch, like i could feel it if i rub my finger on the screen. but it was only a penny, so it guess its prettty good for its price :)

 "4 AND 1/2 STARS rating" 2009-09-16
By A. Lightbourn
FYI (since it seems that different sellers are selling different products under the same product page), I bought this product from AccessoryOne. I'm rating the product 4 1/2 stars because of the confusing description that includes the exact words "Doesnt Not fit IPod Touch 2nd Generation." Intended wording or not, how confusing can you get with that wording that left me wondering if this screen protector would fully cover the face of my 2G iPod Touch. It doesn't. If you put this screen protector on your 2G Touch, there is a small rim of space--slightly <1mm all around--on the screen left exposed. If you want the whole screen completely covered, this product is not for you.

BUT here's why you may not mind the gap:

1) if you buy a case that covers that small gap, you'll be good anyway.

2) The gap makes it easier to remove the screen protector to clean it and reapply.

This 2nd point is a feature I think I'll enjoy most about this product. The instructions that come with the product say you can use the space to more easily peel off the protector, rewash it with plain water, let it air dry, and reapply. I think it will work because when I was applying it, I accidentally got some Kleenix lint on it; so, I peeled the protector back more, used a damp cloth to wipe off the lint with no problems and no stickiness, let it dry a bit, then continued to let it fall back onto the screen.

Two other pluses:

!) AccessoryOne quickly mailed this product out.

2) The protector is thick enough to "fall" easily onto the screen with little to no bubbling when applying it.

3) The protector is also thin enough to where you don't notice it at all (nice and clear) once it's on, and it doesn't affect the sensitivity of the screen.

 "Returning customer." 2009-09-03
By L. Higgins (Wilmington, NC)
I originally bought an iKross screen protector for my RAZR phone. It was easy to apply, and covered the entire screen area. I loved it especially because it did not involve an adhesive. It cuts down on glare, it is easy to apply and remove, easy to clean, and does not move once it is applied. I have not had any problems with it so I purchased one for my husband's phone and it was the first thing I bought for both mine and my husband's iTouch. I highly recommend it, and feel it is essential product to protect those sensitive screens!

"They Don't Tell You Everything" 2009-08-27
By Jackson Ho (california)
Two major challenges with this or any other similar self-adhesive ipod screen protector products. Assuming you follow instructions to the letter, the result may still disappoint because:

(1) they don't tell you that you practically need to be in a clean room ... any dust collected on the sticking side, however small, means you'll have a bubble you won't be able to get rid of. This is compounded by the second challenge,

(2) perfect alignment needs multiple trys ... this increase the chance of picking up dust on the sticky side of the protector.

So, if you bought only one protector like I did, chances are very good that you end up w/ annoying bubbles that make you want to throw the protector away.

In summary, either be happy w/ bubbles or you should get more than one protectors so you get multiple cracks at getting this right ... then there's the clean room option.

Just want buyers to be aware. Hope you find this useful.

"Decent value for the money" 2009-10-12
By S. B. Dupre (Shadowland)
I love my TOUCH and needed something with which to protect it as I traveled.

The good news - it seems to do the job. My screen is protected, the TOUCH is encased in a cushy covering. When I have it open to use, the cover stays out of the way and I can see the screen with no problem. The niches give me access to everything I need to use. Unlike other users, I've had no problem with the magnetic catch.

The bad news - I wish someone had mentioned taking it out of the case when you want to charge it up because even after only a couple of times you could see it coming apart where you plug in the charger.

For the amount of money I paid for this, I figure I still got a good deal. I wish the case was more durable and if I see something else I think will give me as good protection I'll get it. Meanwhile, this one will do.

 "Very Good Value" 2009-10-05
By A. Ortega
This case is pretty dang good for the price. It surely isn't the best one ever, but it's a bang for your buck. The leather is good quality. Nice and smooth while not being too soft so it could protect your ipod nicely. The ipod fits nicely in the case. Although sometimes it moves a little and the leather around the screen gets in the way. That isn't a big issue and you'll get used to it. Using the volume buttons on the side is a little difficult to use and takes some getting used to. You should expect that though since your buying this type of leather case. Using the hold button is the most difficult thing to do and is pretty much the worst part about this case. The magnet isn't the strongest one. It feels like it's really easy to undo. Too easy. This isn't a big issue either, just a little con. There isn't really much to say bad about this case considering it was $8 including shipping.

By the way, the issue about the smell I guess only happens to some cases. I can only smell it when I put my nose up to it. It doesn't smell that great. Smells like the garden section of Wal-Mart.

Overall, I recommend this case. Really good value for a very good price.

Pros:

Good Leather

Accessability to most buttons and inputs

Protects iPod

Very Good Price

Cons:

Hold button is too hard to use

Leather around screen might get in the way sometimes

 "Impressed" 2009-07-30
By R. Hays (Grover Beach, CA.)
Wow, I am impressed with this case. It is the best case I have yet to see online or retail. The price is right, it appears to be of high quality and it fits perfectly.

I am very satisfied with this purchase.

 "IPOD TOUCH LEATHER CASE" 2009-07-30
By LEXMART (BRONX, NY)
Nice leather case for my iPod touch 16gb 2gen.

Fits my iPod perfectly and closes without any problems.

The only problem was the initial smell that was horrible. I aired the case out overnight on the terrace and it was gone by the morning.

Good price point considering other stores charge between $20-$30 for a iPod case.

I am pleased with my purchase.

"Watch Out Touch 2G Owners" 2009-07-17
By Paul - Traveling Man (Port Charlotte, FL)
Received product in a timly manner. Looks good and feels good. Real problem with the magnetic clasp. Everytime I put the Touch into the case it drains the battery over a short period of time. I believe its due to the magnet which is located direcly behind the iPod. Would show caution if purchasing.
